The Legacy of Kelore Goldens
Kelore Goldens was founded by Kim, who has devoted more than 35 years to raising and showing exceptional Golden Retrievers. Throughout her career, Kim has been deeply involved in the Golden Retriever community and has built a breeding program known for its integrity, careful health testing, and commitment to the breed.

Her dogs have received hip, elbow, heart, and eye clearances, and puppies are raised with extensive socialization to ensure they transition smoothly into their new homes. Kim has always been selective about where her puppies go, believing that every dog deserves a loving and dedicated family.

As Kim begins to step back from active breeding, she is excited to pass the Kelore Goldens program to someone who shares her passion for the breed and her dedication to responsible breeding.

A New Chapter for Kelore Goldens
Amy Herbert, a longtime friend and passionate breeder, will now be continuing the Kelore Goldens breeding program. Amy shares the same dedication to the Golden Retriever breed and the same commitment to responsible breeding practices that have defined Kelore Goldens for decades.

Kim remains actively involved in the Golden Retriever community and will continue supporting Amy as this next chapter begins. Together, they are committed to preserving the quality, temperament, and legacy of the Kelore Goldens line for future generations.
Meet Amy Herbert
Amy Herbert is a Certified Dog Trainer who has been training dogs since she was a child. She has trained dogs in obedience, rally, agility, canine good citizen, and conformation. Amy also has a long background in equine sports and incorporates many of those training principles into her work with dogs.

As a child, Amy had several Golden Retrievers. Her first was a dark amber red boy named Jake. Jake was so special to her that when Amy had her first child, she named him Jacob in memory of the dog that forever stole her heart. Throughout the years, Amy has always had a Golden in her life and later added Bullmastiffs to her home as well.
​
Amy is passionate about her dogs and spends countless hours researching the best diets, vaccine protocols, and training methods to ensure her dogs receive the best possible care. On the breeding side, she carefully matches pedigrees to promote optimal health, temperament, and longevity.
​
Matching the right puppy with the right family is something Amy takes very seriously. Every puppy undergoes formal temperament testing to ensure each family receives a dog that fits their lifestyle and home.

All of her dogs are part of the family—and spoiled rotten!
